A New Online Home
A new place to find local plans, share ideas and make connections in Halifax.
A stroll along the waterfront, a garden path or a conversation over coffee: Halifax gives us plenty of ways to make time for each other. Adventure Halifax brings adults together around interests they enjoy, so meeting someone new has a natural place to begin.
I’m Josh, the founder. Come on your own or bring a friend, find a plan that interests you and help shape a friendly local community.
Follow the harbourfront, wander through Halifax Public Gardens or discover a different side of the city around Citadel Hill. Coffee, shared meals and board games offer other ways to make a free evening more social.
Some outings may take us farther along the Nova Scotia coast. Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg are regional day-trip ideas; Cape Breton is a separate, longer journey. Each listing explains the actual destination, travel, pace, costs and preparation.
The photographs here come from Josh’s real visits to Halifax and Nova Scotia in 2017 and 2018. They are an archive of places and experiences, not a record of events already held by this new club. See the photo credits.
Arriving on your own is welcome. Choose something that interests you and let the shared activity help start the conversation.
A coffee, a board game, a shared meal or a neighbourhood walk can be enough. You do not need to be an expert or arrive with an existing circle.
Each event lists its actual meeting point, pace, costs and preparation details. Choose what fits your interests and comfort level.
